ACCOLADES

My drive to be exceptional is so relentless, thus why it’s so fulfilling when recognized for the hard work I put into everything I do. Thank you.

My father has a saying in our native language, Ondo "Ùyà é jẹ ẹ́, wi wo gbọ́n; kí shùkúù ùyà we yú?" Loosely translated, "You claim to be knowledgeable in life's experiences; which school of hard knocks did you attend?"

This sums up this well-written book. Ola not only experienced, but she endured and persevered. I absolutely enjoyed being a part of this woman's story of love, life and grit. From the beginning, Ola draws you in her sincere and sometimes dark life's experiences. She also sheds light on the lessons that they offer; making every encounter a 'Win-Learn' situation.

In the end, she imparts that "It matters not what you are called, only what you answer to."
Well done!!! An absolute must read.

Once I started reading the book I couldn’t stop! It is written with brutal honesty, introspection and wit. My hear broke in several places, my anxiety levels rose in others but mostly I cheered for the triumphs of Olatokunbo when she despite odds against her , yet again prevailed.
I recommend this book. As a Nigerian currently living in the USA it had a special resonance to me, but it’s a book for everyone who celebrates triumph over adversity.
The business tips at the end made me reach for my notebook to take notes!!! -

This is the triumphant true story of a woman’s perseverance and tenacity, of never giving up, positive self-talk, self-love and self-worth, and the importance of listening only to one’s heart rather than the often times painful and unexpected roar of criticisms of others; even the people we thought were supposed to love and protect us most. Bravo, Ola! The best is yet to come. - Ginnie Grant
